We Are Not Blindly Following Dr. Bawumia- Former Finance Minister

Dr. Amin Adam, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Karaga and a former Minister of Finance, has dismissed claims that politicians from Northern Ghana are blindly following the flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking during Dr. Bawumia’s campaign activities, Dr. Amin Adam said the support being shown by NPP politicians in the northern part of the country is rooted in conviction, not sentiment.

“Northerners have been told that we are blindly following Dr. Bawumia,” he said.

“I want them to know that we are not blind—we can see clearly.”

According to the Karaga MP, what northern NPP leaders see in Dr. Bawumia is a combination of competence, humility, and integrity—qualities he believes qualify the Vice President for the highest office in the land.

“When we look at Dr. Bawumia, we see a competent man, a humble man, and a truthful man. We see a President,” Dr. Amin Adam declared.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is currently on a nationwide campaign tour which has taken him to various parts of the country.

He is currently in the Upper East Region where he kick-started his campaign on Sunday.
