CF Carthage of Tunisia delivered a commanding performance to defeat Nigeria’s NCS in straight sets, tightening their grip on Pool C at the 2026 CAVB Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship.
From the first serve, the Tunisian side asserted their dominance with aggressive serving and a well-organised defensive setup at the net. NCS struggled to cope with the early pressure, falling to a heavy 25–8 defeat in the opening set.
The Nigerian club showed signs of improvement in the second and third sets, settling into their rhythm and extending rallies with more coordinated play. However, Carthage’s superior depth, tactical discipline, and consistency proved decisive at crucial moments.
Despite a spirited effort from NCS to challenge in the third set, Carthage maintained control and closed it out 25–17 to complete a comprehensive 3–0 victory.
The result places Carthage in a strong position to progress to the knockout stage, while NCS will need to regroup quickly and improve their execution to keep their campaign alive.
