Binduri Crisis: Soldiers Chase Bazua Residents Out of Homes

Reports reaching channel247online.com says residents of Bazua in the Binduri District of the Upper East Region have fled their homes following an operation by the military detachment in the area. It is not yet clear why the military embarked on the operation but channel247online.com’s reporter Kassim Iddrisu reports that he and his family have taken refuge in a nearby community after seeing many residents running for cover due to the operation by the military.

A few days ago, three persons were killed in the area after their truck broke down on the Bolgatanga-Bawku highway. It is believed that the incident is the reason for the swoop by the military who may be searching for the perpetrators of the crime.
