‘I will respond at the appropriate time’ – Anim Addo on GFA charge

President of Ghana Premier League side Young Apostles Samuel Anim Addo says he is willing to comply with the regulations of the Ghana Football Association following the Disciplinary Committee’s charge.

The former Executive Council member of the FA was charged for his remarks on referee Maxwell Hanson on social media when he alleged the latter is the GFA’s man for ‘dirty works.’

This follows the referee’s performance in Accra Lions’ defeat to Dreams FC which led to the former calling for urgent reforms to the Ghana Premier League.

In response to the charge levelled against him by the FA, Anim Addo says he is ready for the consequences of his actions.

“I am a law-abiding citizen and I respect every rule of the game so when the time comes for me to respond, I will do that in accordance with the regulations,” he said on Joy News’ Prime Sports.

“But what I’m saying is that the video is there for us all to see. If it is good, then that’s up to all of us.”
