Elliot Wogbe marks 50th birthday with NDC family donations

The Deputy Volta Regional Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Elliot Wogbe, has marked his 50th birthday with a charitable donation to families of deceased party members across seven constituencies in the Volta Region.

The donation, which included bags of rice, cooking oil, tins of milk and cash support, was aimed at easing the burden on families whose relatives contributed to the growth of the party but are no longer alive. Mr. Wogbe said the gesture was an expression of appreciation, solidarity and compassion for the sacrifices made by party members over the years.

According to him, the initiative reflects the importance of remembering and supporting the families left behind, particularly in difficult economic times. He stressed that party unity and grassroots welfare must remain a priority for the NDC.

Beneficiary families expressed gratitude to Mr. Wogbe for the timely support, noting that the items received would go a long way in meeting their basic household needs. They also offered prayers for his continued protection, guidance and success in his political career.

Some party supporters described the donation as a demonstration of genuine leadership, adding that such acts of kindness strengthen bonds within the party and inspire confidence among grassroots members.

Mr. Wogbe’s 50th birthday celebration took place on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the Life Celebration International Church, followed by a modest reception at his residence. The event was attended by family members, friends, party executives and supporters who joined him to celebrate the milestone.

The initiative has since been widely praised by NDC members in the Volta Region, who see it as a reflection of Mr. Wogbe’s commitment to compassion, party loyalty and community service.
