Africa Prosperity Network unveils winner of borderless Africa logo

The Africa Prosperity Network (APN) has unveiled the winning design of the Make Africa Borderless Now! logo, marking a significant milestone in its push for deeper continental integration and a unified African market.

The logo emerged from a highly competitive Pan-African design competition that attracted 1,041 entries from creatives across all six regions of Africa East, West, North, South, Central and the Global African diaspora. The competition, announced on January 14, 2026, recorded overwhelming interest, prompting APN to extend the initial announcement date to allow for a thorough and transparent evaluation process.

According to APN, the selection process was conducted in four rigorous stages, narrowing submissions from 541 entries in the first round to 80 shortlisted designs, then 10 finalists, and finally five outstanding entries that competed for the top honour. The Network’s Board of Directors ultimately selected the winning logo, which received the majority of votes in both the penultimate and final rounds.

The winning design was praised for its strong visual clarity and its ability to clearly communicate the vision of a borderless Africa. APN noted that the logo effectively reflects the single-market agenda and the free movement of people, goods, services and capital across the continent.

The logo will be officially unveiled on the third day of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues 2026 at the Accra International Conference Centre, during the formal launch of the Make Africa Borderless Now!movement. The initiative is expected to galvanise continent-wide support for accelerated economic integration and shared prosperity.

The Africa Prosperity Network is a Pan-African organisation committed to advancing economic integration, sustainable development and inclusive growth across Africa through strategic partnerships and thought leadership.
