Long queues of delegates were still visible at the Maranatha University College polling centre in the Anyaa–Sowutuom Constituency even after the official close of voting.
Although the scheduled time for the polls had elapsed, electoral officials allowed delegates who were already in the queue before the closing time to cast their ballots, in line with standard electoral procedures.
The situation led to extended voting hours at the centre as party officials and security personnel worked to ensure an orderly and transparent process. Delegates patiently waited under tight security, with officials occasionally urging calm and cooperation.
Some delegates expressed concern over the slow pace of the process, while others praised the officials for ensuring that no eligible voter was disenfranchised despite the late hour.
Election observers present at the centre described the process as generally peaceful, noting that the long queues reflected high participation among delegates in the constituency.
