Cocaine allegation: Security officers suspected to be from NIB besiege Assin South MP Ntim Fordjour’s residence

The General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong has alleged that some operatives from the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) on Wednesday besieged the residence of the Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev John Ntim Fordjour to arrest him.

In a post on social media, Justin Kodua Frimpong wrote, “#SayNoToStateIntimidation”.

In a video shared on social media, some men wearing bulletproof vests with NIB written on them were seen in front a gate said to be the residence of Rev Ntim Fordjour, who is a ranking member on Parliament’s Security and Defence Committee.

Following the move, a number of MPs from the Minority side moved to Rev Ntim Fordjour’s residence to show solidarity with the Assin South MP.
