No recruitment currently ongoing – NPA cautions public

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has refuted claims circulating on social media about an ongoing recruitment exercise.

In a statement issued to clarify the situation, the Authority indicated that there are no current job openings or recruitment activities underway.

The public has been urged to disregard the misleading information and refrain from taking any action based on the false claims.

Additionally, the NPA issued a warning about fraudulent individuals posing as middlemen or recruiters for the Authority.

“The attention of the National Petroleum Authority has been drawn to social media publications on ongoing job openings at the Authority.

“We wish to categorically deny that there are no such recruitments currently ongoing, and the public is advised to disregard such information.

“The general public is, however, urged to be mindful of scammers parading themselves as middlemen to get them recruited at the Authority,” the statement said.
