Warning shots fired as NDC supporters storm Ghana Gas Office

A tense situation is currently unfolding at the Ghana National Gas Company Limited (GNGCL) headquarters in Accra as individuals suspected to be supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have reportedly gathered at the premises.

The incident has prompted a significant security response, with both soldiers and police officers deployed to the scene to maintain order.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that the crowd attempted to forcefully enter the GNGCL premises, leading to a confrontation with security personnel.

In an effort to disperse the gathering and restore calm, warning shots were fired by the security forces.

The situation remains volatile, with tensions still high as security forces continue to work to control the crowd and prevent further escalation.

Authorities have yet to provide an official statement on the incident. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
