UPSIDE DOWN: I never met my biological father – Empress Gifty

Acclaimed Ghanaian gospel singer Empress Gifty has revealed that she never knew her biological father.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Channel One TV‘s Entertainment and Lifestyle show Upside Down – co-hosted by Frema Adunyame and Nana Tuffour, Empress Gifty shared that, I don’t know my father..I didn’t see my dad…He is dead”.

As a result, she was raised by her stepfather. Despite not knowing her biological father, she expressed gratitude for the love and care she received from her stepfather.”My stepfather took care of me”.

Although she never had a personal relationship with her late father, the celebrated Gospel Diva mentioned that his name is Andoh.

Empress Gifty is currently making waves with her latest song, “Watch Me.” The track that has gained significant popularity was written by Highlife star Kuami Eugene.
